When a person accepts Christ as their Savor and Lord, they must love Him with all their heart, mind, and soul. They will not accept me nor believe in me. Jesus has already paid the price for them. (Galatians 5) the only way to not produce the fruit of the flesh but the fruit of the spirit is to literally live your life by the spirit. It’s because people who believe DO NOT WALK IN THE SPIRIT.
But the reason why people still sin, is not a grace issue or repentance issue. Understanding the revelation (revealed truth to the heart) not just head knowledge, should make you turn away from sin. People need to get a revelation of what grace really is. Grace will abound tho, if it didnt, God wouldn’t be who he says he is. In Ephesians, Romans especially, and Galatians, Paul expresses the freedom in detail. Eternal life depends on whether you believe or not. Sin can’t undo the finished works of the cross. If you read John 3:16 carefully, Jesus died for the world.
